Of course, football fans tune into the Super Bowl every year to watch a good game. However, the halftime show and the ads only run a very close second because of the high entertainment value. This year, the halftime show will have such big names as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar, while the topic that will dominate the ads will be crypto.
While an NBC spot that lasts about thirty seconds can run upwards of $7 million, Bitcoin companies aren’t having any problem dishing out the cash. A remarkable crypto rally that began two years ago has been heavily loading the treasure boxes of Bitcoin enterprises all around the globe. In fact, $30 billion has poured in from venture-capital firms just in 2021 alone.
Will They Be Entertaining Though?
Matt Damon recently starred in a crypto advertisement that some may argue was a little elaborate. Damon shared these poetic words;
“In these moments of truth, these men and women — these mere mortals, just like you and me — as they peer over the edge, they calm their minds and steal their nerves with four simple words that have been whispered by the intrepid since the time of the Romans: Fortune favors the brave.”
Of course, he compared the brave men and women throughout history with those who had a hand in inventing it and moving the various crypto forward. If that’s any indication of what these ads will be like, get ready! It will be a fun night of Bitcoin inspiration where you could learn some things you might never have imagined. But with such massive stars like Tom Brady, Ashton Kutcher, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. advocating for Bitcoin, it would be a real shame if these crypto companies missed the high entertainment mark Super Bowl ads have delivered.
Unfortunately, Bitcoin advertisements are relatively new to the game. Most companies enjoy leaking teasers about their Super Bowl ads. It builds hype and gets everyone excited. But, the crypto community has been quiet thus far. So, here’s to not spoiling the surprise!
What Does This Mean For Bitcoin?
Well, as Robin Sharma once said, “Awareness precedes change.” The more we see Bitcoin on the “big screen,” the greater the interest and adoption. This Super Bowl spotlight is one more BIG WIN for BTC!
