Mark W. Paolillo graduated from Clemson University in 1990, with a BS in Accounting. Mr. Paolillo is a Certified Public Accountant (Florida) and a Certified Global Management Accountant. He holds professional memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), and the Consulting Services Section of the AICPA.
Mark has worked in the public sector as a certified Public Accountant for 30 years. In 2020, he sold his practice to focus exclusively on Byte Federal. During his tenure with Byte Federal, he consulted with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation (FLOFR) regarding money transmission and was instrumental in the rewriting of Florida Money Transmitter legislation which was signed into law in 2022. He also consulted with FLOFR on kiosk scam prevention techniques which were incorporated into Florida virtual currency kiosk legislation.
Paolillo has guided Byte Federal through the maze of the differing state money transmission laws and elevated Byte Federal to be considered as the “go to” company by regulators and law enforcement for insight into the industry as well as best practices in the virtual currency kiosk space.
